The bathing season begins in a beautiful spring in May (water ∼ 20°C) and ends – assumed the weather stays good – at the end of September (water ∼ 23°C).
During midsummer, lake Klopeiner See warms up to 28°C, making it one of the warmest bathing lakes of Europe with drinking water quality.

The sunbathing lawn borders the lakeside with a child-friendly entry into shallow water.
Stairs lead from the bathing jetty into the lake, jumps from the jetty are permitted and the water is deep enough.
Considerate behavior is required from all bathers, loud radio music is not welcome.

Sports fans will find a windsurfing, stand-up paddling-school directed of experienced sports instructors in the Unterburg lido. SUP boards, windsurfers and pedal boats can be rented.

Changing rooms, a sanitary area, sun loungers and parasols (for a fee) are available for bathers.
Children enjoy the swing and a sandpit to play with.
The beach buffet offers refreshing drinks, coffee, ice cream and snacks against the small appetite.

According to the regulation, dogs are unfortunately not allowed to be taken for a bath.
